FRESHER MAKE-UP, FRESHER EYES, FRESHER SKIN

Cosmetics have a shelf life because they breed bacteria. Keeping cosmetics too long can lead to eye infections and other skin problems,
so it’s important to keep track of how long you’ve been using your make-up.This is where your Timestrips® come in.

Timestrips® measure time, keeping track of when you first opened your make-up and when it is no longer safe to use.

You may have noticed a new symbol that is appearing on skin-care and make-up products

It is an open jar with a number followed by the letter "M," which in English stands for ‘month’. The symbol is referred to as Period After Opening (PaO), and is a new system devised by the European Union's cosmetics regulatory branch. The symbol is not yet required for cosmetic products
sold in the USA or Canada, but if a cosmetics company
wishes to sell its products in Europe it’s a mandatory
labeling requirement. The PaO gives consumers
information on how long the product can be safely
used after it is opened.

Keep Your Timestrips© in your
Make-up Bag

Many perishable make-up items are small, that’s why each pack of Timestrips® for cosmetics comes with a pretty little case where you can adhere your strips and check-in on make-up freshness. Keep it in your make-up bag, or wherever you store your cosmetics. For bottles and jars which stay at home, use the Timestrips® directly on your product’s container for easy freshness reference.
